Yes is the answer! The belief is that when we are born we are set with a number, in the billions, of fat cells and that our lifestyle will influence the size of them.
FACT is, there are 4 stages in our lives when we can strongly increase or decrease the QUANTITY of FAT cells in our bodies;
1. As a baby in the third trimester
2. Throughout the age of 2 years old
3. During pregnancy (mother)
4. Throughout adolescents
So hypertherically; if I was born with 10 billion fat cells, my lifestyle will influence the size of the fat cells and only the above can influence the quantity I have.
As a mum this information is vital for you to be able protect your children from the rising concerns of degenerative diseases.
